What a session actually is

I will watch your screen acting craft and see what I find genuinely compelling about you as a performer, and builds that into technique you can produce on demand in an audition room, on a self-tape, or on the day. Since every actor is different and starting from a different place, I work on the things you already do well and enhance that. Then we set goals and start to work on the things you want to improve.

What sessions cover

A session can cover so many thing. Script analysis. Tone and genre. Memorization. Timing. Self-tape filming and audition submissions. Callbacks, mix-and-matches and chemistry reads. Table reads. Character and role preparation, both before filming begins and during the shoot itself. We will decide on the goal of each session and go from there.

Everyone. Working professional actors. Teenagers, Preteen and Children preparing for professional work. Young adults building a career. Working actors preparing for a specific role or a booked job. Actors returning after time away. I also work with adult professionals executives, attorneys, anyone who has to hold a room or present a presentation or speech; people who need presence and delivery rather than acting. Sessions run in Los Angeles and remotely, worldwide. Remote coaching is not a compromise: most auditions now happen on self-tape, so working over a camera is working in the actual medium.
