Gayla Goehl has worked as a professional actress since the age of fourteen, building a career that spans film, television, commercials, voiceover, animation, and stage. A member of Actors’ Equity Association, her theater credits range from off-Broadway premieres to regional productions in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Goehl starred in the feature film @URFrenz (streaming on Amazon Prime), written and directed by Jeff Phillips and produced by Sean McNamara (Soul Surfer). The film won Best Film and Best Director at The Method Fest and earned five additional nominations, including a Best Supporting Actress nod for Goehl’s performance as Debbie. LA Weekly praised the film, writing, “The acting is fantastic, especially Gayla Goehl as Madison’s incredibly f#+&$ed up mom.” Her additional film credits include All About Us, The Fibonacci Sequence, Laboratory Conditions, How To Disappear and Not Be Found, Acting Human, Acting Human 2, The Wanderer, Skip Day, The Daylights, Detention, Rear View Mirror, Less Than Human, Just A Little Competition, Undebatable, and The Probability of Love.

On television, Goehl has appeared in House M.D., Charmed, Netflix’s You, Tia Mowry: My Next Act, and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, and served as a series regular in the pilots The Untitled Joe Franklin Pilot, Mars Sucks, and Pop Noir. She also played Judge Ava Fairness for fourteen episodes of Kid’s Court.

She has also appeared in more than sixty national commercials for brands including K-Mart, Sears, Olive Garden, and Domino’s Pizza. She has appeared in dozens of industrial films for organizations such as The FBI, Walmart, and Abbott Pharmaceuticals. She has also hosted filmed and live corporate events for brands including Smith-Glaxo, Manoplax, and Nexxus.

As a television host, Goehl was the first face of the TV Guide Channel. She served as entertainment host, correspondent, and associate producer for the pilot Music News, and for Music News and Celebrity Insider segments has conducted red-carpet coverage and celebrity interviews for awards shows, industry up-fronts, and other entertainment events — interviewing thousands of celebrities over the course of her career.
